3. Cancellations and Refunds

Heartland Gamebirds reserves the right to cancel or reschedule reservations when necessary because of severe weather, unsafe conditions, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other operational or safety concerns. When this occurs, we will work with affected guests to determine appropriate options.

4. Hunting Activities and Legal Requirements

Guests participating in hunting activities are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including requirements relating to hunting licenses, permits, firearms, ammunition, seasons, limits, and hunter education.

Guests are responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or other documentation required for their participation unless Heartland Gamebirds expressly states otherwise.

Heartland Gamebirds reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation when a guest violates applicable laws, property rules, safety requirements, or instructions provided by Heartland Gamebirds personnel.

5. Safety and Assumption of Risk

Hunting and outdoor recreational activities involve inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, risks associated with firearms, wildlife, uneven or difficult terrain, weather, vehicles, equipment, animals, other participants, and outdoor conditions.

By choosing to participate in activities offered by Heartland Gamebirds, guests acknowledge that such activities may involve risk of property damage, personal injury, serious injury, or death.

All participants are expected to follow applicable laws and all safety instructions and rules communicated by Heartland Gamebirds personnel.

Additional waivers, releases, safety agreements, or participation requirements may be required before taking part in certain activities. These Terms do not replace any separate waiver or agreement required for participation.

6. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave safely and responsibly and to respect Heartland Gamebirds property, employees, guides, other guests, wildlife, equipment, and facilities.

Heartland Gamebirds reserves the right to refuse service or remove an individual from an activity or property when we reasonably believe that the individual presents a safety risk, is behaving unlawfully or irresponsibly, is damaging property, is interfering with other guests, or is refusing to follow reasonable instructions.

7. Lodging, Events, and Property Use

Guests using lodging, event facilities, or other Heartland Gamebirds property are responsible for following applicable property rules and any instructions provided at the time of booking or arrival.

Guests may be responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their party beyond ordinary wear and tear.

Specific lodging, event, catering, hunting, or group reservations may be subject to additional terms communicated during the reservation process. If additional written terms apply to a particular reservation, those terms will supplement these website Terms.
